The design is rooted in a personal interpretation of Baudelaire's Parfum Exotique: the moment the poem was born. Inside the Casbah, behind a door that does not announce itself, a house of perfume unfolds in silence. Women move between alembics and clay vessels, turning petals and resins into something that cannot be seen, only felt. The air carries jasmine, amber, the warmth of copper. Further in, past an arch half-hidden in shadow, polished stone and warm air evoke a world that exists only to slow the body down.
