A space for independent designers who need somewhere to think. La Mata is built around a single idea: that creativity moves, and the space around it should too. The layout takes its cue from the logic of a pinball, fluid, bouncing, never still. Curved forms guide the eye and the body through the space, tracing a continuous path between the work area and the lounge without ever imposing a hard boundary between them. Perforated mesh screens hang from the ceiling, softened by cascading plants that define zones without enclosing them. The transition between focused work and rest is gradual, almost imperceptible. Natural light enters from the street-facing facade, framed in the company's corporate green, a threshold that separates the noise of the city from the quieter atmosphere within. Inside, warm wood flooring and exposed concrete sit alongside fluid white forms and organic lighting that traces the same curving logic as the furniture below. The lounge anchors itself in amber and ochre, the second corporate colour, generous and unhurried, designed for the kind of conversation that becomes a project. Behind it, a large-scale mural of abstracted faces covers the brick wall: a portrait of the space itself, of the different people who pass through it and the ideas they bring with them.
