The Sausalito is not designed as a venue. It is designed around a common dream that, as Eugenio chased fame alone, hollowed itself out — becoming a display of what he wanted to be, and an absence of what he was. The space tracks a single emotional arc through colour, level and distance. Early sequences hold warmth. As fame grows and connection fades, blue takes over — not as decoration, but as a quiet announcement of what is already being lost. The space does not describe the distance. It measures it. The spatial layout carries the same weight. The stalls sit below, the stage rises to meet the VIP area — Eugenio elevated above his audience, yet still beneath the world he wants to reach. The faceted ceiling presses down. The golden lattice of the VIP divides more than it frames. The floor fragments geometrically toward the stage and flattens into uniform blue above — each zone a different register of the same unravelling. A record player sits covered in dust. A mirror no longer returns one image — it breaks it. The more the room celebrated him, the further he slipped into the only version of himself the spotlight recognised.
